Ari
When I was a kid, I always wanted one of these... Mid engined, Italian, and targa roof, what more could you want? (A bigger engine, less rust and more reliability were the usual answers!)
MOSE
Friend of mine has one of these in his garage Ari, its a non-runner at the moment and he will get round to cleaning it up andgetting back on the road. His brother has one or two of those old triumph TR cars, not sure whether they are 5s ar 6s, but no doubt they will look good when they are back on the road. The X19 was definately a girlie car, I have never seen one with a bloke behind the wheel.
jimdiesel
I remember the competition that Car magazine ran, to win one in the late 70's I think. I became obsessed with it. You had to calculate the average spped and MPG of there trip to to the south of france. I had the lime green Corgi 1300 model, and remember getting very excited when the 1500 came out. theduisbergkid
Love it ! Anything 70's in a wedge stylee with pop-up lights and the engine in the back is great. Thought about one for Scumball, but doubt it would cover the distance (giners crossed for the mr2 then) ..... How about a TR7 then ? Same rust and reliability (or lack of ), but bigger .... Ari
One of the vwery last, and looks in good nick (as you'd hope at that price). Pity about the twin tone colour scheme they used on the last ones, and the USA Federal bumpers they got halfway through the product run. Original bumpers on the 1,300 cars were so much nicer.
