UBM
So they got hold of the keys in an hour?
kevinamarsden
NO NO NO ! Job done in an hour, keys took about 10 days. The important bit for me, was that they only gave 'er indoors one hours worth of credit card damage time at the retail park opposite
UBM
There you go! 10 days the same, job done in a day, along with the other seven they had to do!
UBM
And why do I need to change dealer? They did a great job putting right 8 of the nine faults and left me with an A6 2.7TDI to play with.
Sponge
I think he means I should change dealer. I actually bought the car from Chester, but didn't want to drive all that way for what I hoped would be a simple and quick job. How wrong I was. All future dealings will be with Chester. Sponge
I have new keys! I got to the dealer 20 minutes early for my 1300 appointment - I didn't want to be bumped down the queue. I was asked to wait as the monkeys don't finish their break until 1300. Exactly one hour later he was handing me my new keys. They seem to work fine and hopefully they will for long time to come. Bloody relieved it's all over though. I won't be going back to Liverpool in a hurry.
