Ari
[ QUOTE ] THIS CAR WAS VALUED AT JUST UNDER £200K AND WAS WORTH EVERY PENNY OF IT AS THE BUILD COST EXCELLED THIS VALUE BY A MILE.WE ESTIMATE THAT TO GET THIS CAR REPAIRED AND BACK ON THE ROAD WOULD COST AROUND THE £20-30K MARK AND WE CAN SUPPLY ALL THE CONTACTS YOU WOULD NEED TO DO THIS. [/ QUOTE ] Right, so it's "worth" £200K (more than an Aston Martin Vanquish S) and it will cost £20-30K to repair. And they're selling it for £8K? Rightio... stevie_d
I'm very confused here, as I'm not sure what to feel. The car was completely pointless, but the owner wasn't doing anyone any harm by building it. But it was a complete waste of money on what is an Astra, but then he was unlucky for it to catch fire. But then he was a moron not to insure it, so the bwhahahahahaha's have it oh, btw, barry's tend to include everything when they say "our car cost £*big number*. I've spoken to barry's who have included the fuel they've used, insurance, tyres, tax and all other running costs in their values...
mccombie_5
The tyres???? The Tax??? omfg
emmettlodge
Admittedly the car may have been a (albeit expensive) big pile of useless chav plastic, but never-the-less, a lot of money and time was obviously put into it, so it's kind of a shame to see it all go up in smoke like that. Like stevie_d says, it's mixed emotions here. Still wouldn't pay 8k for it. blah.
