Will22
There's one in the boot of the S4 and I was wondering what they were like. Also are the hard to put on and I take it that you can't have people in the back. Will

Big_Dan
I actually got one in my garage - anyone got any idea what they're worth? Although I may get back into a cab one day ... :dreams:

bells0
They are superb for when it's not so warm - amazing the difference in gust with it in place! Will take mine out once full on summer hits as will be glad of a little extra air - but for any other time is brill! They sell for £150 ish on ebay if u really don't use it! richspeight
The windbreak is great. It's permanently installed in my Cab at the moment for those impromptu "it's sunny, but it's still spring" moments! The pros are that it stops chilly backdraft when it's sunny buyt not hot, and you can drive at motorway speeds with the roof down. The cons are that it takes up quite a bit of space in the boot (which I guess you already know!), and it turns your 4 seater into a 2 seater. I bought mine in Germany for significantly less (look for Windschott on eBay) than the UK. However, in the UK on eBay, they seem to go for between £150 and £180. A lot less than Audi charge! UBM
The wind break, aka wind deflector is a fantastic piece of kit. It really does help and I believe they have been tested in an S4 cab to very high speeds on foreign motorways of course... Expect to fetch about 150-200 notes selling on e-bay! UBM
Daz, ahem, do you happen to know the speed that "the chap" who tested it got to....
Daz
I heard that it got tested to approx 155mph

Daz
I suppose he might have done. I wonder how the windbreak will cope with the RS4
UBM
Is "he" going to have it in time for Le Mans?
Daz
Unfortunately not. "He'll" have to arrange another trip abroad to test it out.
UBM
Would he be testing an aftermarket exhaust system simultaneously to check the effect of high speed noise suppression using the wind deflector....
Daz
I don't think he will be - he can't afford anything else.

lmmlmmam
Will, It's a fantastic bit of kit. I was a one time hater of them (don't like the way they look) but it massively increases the amount of pleasant top down motoring you'll be able to do. It also massively reduces noise levels on dual carrigeways and motorways.
