RedRobin
The Italians (and Greeks) have always put 'Common Sense' before the written law and long may it continue! [says he who has Italian ancestory amongst others]
drpellypo
Yip, that's the Team Polizei driving. You can tell by all the police lights etc on the sun visors, and the three, iirc, speed detectors!
Thorburn
Funny how in one thread we've got people condeming our police for overtaking on a blind bend and then in another we've got people saying how great and cool it is that forgein police are speeding around a busy city, risking the lives on pedestrians and other drivers, so someone in a race that isn't a race for legal reasons can get some petrol... [ QUOTE ] The Italians (and Greeks) have always put 'Common Sense' before the written law and long may it continue! [says he who has Italian ancestory amongst others] [/ QUOTE ] Surely common sense would be 'this is in no way an emergency' and just give them directions
RedRobin
You're absolutely right, Thorburn, but the trouble is that human beings are so full of contradictions. Whether the reason for that city dash is valid or not doesn't matter imo - If the speeding was for a more valid reason we would doubtless accept it more readily, but it would still be the same example of driving. In fact, the driving looked very proficient on the vid rather than in the same category as 'blind corners'.

Calm Chris
Had a chat with the guys guarding it (they let me sit in it!). Dropped straight off a low loader, then straight back to Lambo UK. Apparently Lambo would of let someone drive to / from the Gumball venue (Pall Mall W1), but HQ wouldn't cover the insurance. They were gutted.... Calm Chris
Sounds a bit better than a 15 hour shift from hell . Hope you've chilled out and try not to let b4stard joe public depress you too much- Some of us are quite decent people, even if we do (very) occasionally cause traffic division paperwork . Just got a London crime number from Southgate police station, the number (Met Police) was crime 5, 600, xyz / 06. I assume that means over 5m reported crimes since 1/1/

Calm Chris
The car was done for the Met Police, PR Dept. It's not a Gumball entry car, just a bit of eye candy to show the nice side of Mr Met
