I'm after a 1Gb SD Card to go with it, and just want to know the best (cheapest) places are to get them... Also does it matter about what type of card you get (e.g 10x, 40x, 100x speeds)? Paul Posted May 4, 2006 Report Share Posted May 4, 2006 Just bought a 2GB SanDisk Extreme III SD card(fastest Sandisk i could get) from www.picstop.co.uk very cheap compared to competitors, and i shopped around alot. I didnt want to use ebay as there are alot of copies and fake cards around. Speed of card will affect how quick it will write and read from the card. So dependant on camera. Its unlikely a compact camera will use the ability of a faster card, but for me it was £16 difference to the Extreme II 2GB card i was considering, so i thought sod it , have the best.
