Booster
The only company that I know of that does the 5 hour trial is Revo. You can look for your local dealer here
saf
what is a reasonable price to pay for it??? awsome tuning in manchester have quoted me £400 and it will take it to 265bhp, should i go for that price or shop around for a while? Paul
£400 is very competative from memory. Had you not mentioned a price, i would have suggested you would be looking at circa £500 for most remaps.
hus99
got my s3 210bhp remapped today by revo. payed 590 quid , well worth it , induction kit and new diverter valve is essential though.
Paul
Sorry, but i fail to see where an induction kits is essential. Diverter valve isnt either, but I would agree it is a sensible addition, so they can be taken apart and serviced/inspected , and be more robust against the heat. I run/ still running my S3, for 40k miles remapped, on a standard airbox and paper Audi filters ,with RR plots showing 275 bhp and 291 lbft torque. It reaches the 190 - 200 grams per second of air expected of a chipped car measured at the maf. prior to this i ran another S3 for 18K miles on a standard airbox. hus99
get the right induction kit and u will be pleased. just b4 revo were going to reamp they told me to purchase , new divverter valve and induction kit, which i of course i already had, the noise that my s3 is producing from them is beautifull,.. the car can breathe right with these mods.
