Sponge
We use one key between us. The spare is in my safe with the car's folder. The plastic key is in my wife's hand bag.
gizze
The plastic is always in my wallet,if I loose my keys then I always have a spare with me so I can at least get home.
Avus_Bub
It's in my 'car folder' with all my other car and bike stuff. I've never lost a key in 20 years of vehicle ownership but keeping the plastic one in your wallet is a good idea. BUB Mind you, I did lose a wallet once.................. GeneBopp
I have to keep mine in my suit case. The TSA (airport security) are afraid of the "switch blade" key.
SPLiiX
The plastic key only lets you into the car. it won't start the car for you.
A4_Family_Man
Always in my wallet - where the dealer said to keep it. In fact he referred to it as the "wallet key" Haven't tried it on the A4, but certainly on the TT the wallet key started the engine - remember testing that out.
