They're not too visible though, fortunately. ...the scraped rims distract the eye from the stone chips in the paintwork anyway. So I guess that's another plus point to kerbing your alloys! Chav Posted July 31, 2006 Author Report Share Posted July 31, 2006 Latest update.... Passenger side windscreen wiper "fell off" on Saturday .... I'd pulled the wiper stalk to clean the windscreen and off the wiper flew on the second wipe - about 60mph on a dual carriageway. ....oops!! Was just going past Preston docklands, so nipped into their Audi showroom and some very friendly gents fitted a new wiper in about 5 seconds flat for £13 inc VAT. Also gave us a nice tour of a black rs4 cab, and had one of those lovely coffees that take 20 mins to make in the machine. ...great service!! Tip mode sometimes doesn't work Windscreen just changed due to 12-inch crack All 4 wheels scraped to hell and back Brake pads need changing Rear light indicator occasionally warns of bulb failure Glovebox stinks because of some milkshake that went off in there the other week Cig lighter lamp doesn't work Windows squeak (very loud) when raise/lower them Offside windscreen wiper falling apart (literally!) - fell off. now replaced. Armrest button thingy snapped left-hand glove compartment bracket snapped - now doesn't shut properly without holding it whilst closing. Grrr!!!! Front sidelight gone already. Cig lighter lamp doesn't work Windows squeak (very loud) when raise/lower them - now silent again (lots of window polish! Offside windscreen wiper falling apart (literally!) - fell off. now replaced. Philips Bluevision don't last that long then! - all bulbs changed! carkit doesn't charge phone anymore. bugger. still works fine for calls though. - philips bluevision front parking lights (the teeny ones under middle lamp on the camp) look fantastic compared to OEM.
