XXX 1.8T
Hi guys been a while........ I just discovered that some how i have cracked my passenger side engine mount. Now has anyone upgraded their engine mounts or has stuck to OEM. I have read that VF do poliurethane mounts but im scared there may be some harshness. Want some feedback now from those that drive tuned A3's. My A3 has around 240hp, Peloquin LSD, and H&R Coilovers. cheers, Costa....
Paul
http://www.wak-tt.com/mods/dogbone/Dogbone.htm after talk of tranmitting noise and vibration else where into the chassis, its not something i would want to do. I dont see the point of making one thing better, and another thing worse. I think its very much a personal mod, and if you like the side effects. Its not something i am likely to do. XXX 1.8T
I have done the dogbone mod and it has improved the handling immensly. As for vibration i dont have any as there are differnt levels of Poliurethane that can be used and if u use one that is at a level which doesnt cos harshness then its sweet. I agree Paul whats the use of doing something that sacrifices comfort we drive Audi's not Hondas
