I lusted for one in Imperial Blue. And if the Lottery numbers ever came up I'd be sorely tempted to finally realise the dream. Then I'd probably have an RS500 motor built for it. I haven't actually seen one accurately timed against the CSL, Top Gear claimed it pipped the GT3 but I'm never sure how trustworthy their figures are. EVO never got a chance to lap it at Bedford because it broke noise regs. It's my choice because of the character and focus on pure performance, the Enzo would appeal to me but only for the V12. F599 is a hell of a machine, but unlikely to be revered as classic, original F550 however, if the spec was right, could be in with a shout. Will you have a look at an F430 CS if they do one Woppum? RacingRed Posted August 15, 2006 Report Share Posted August 15, 2006 Good man, and interesting reading. 0.5 of a second quicker than the CSL around Hockenheim but 6 seconds slower around the 'ring? Gotta be something up there if you ask me. Maybe the CSL had a good day, those Pilot Sports are supposed to be very twitchy in the wet. You've got one haven't you? What's your take on it?
