I was well fed up when someone scratched the whole passenger side of mine with a key right down to the primer, so I can imagine how you feel at this moment. As far as the lights, I cant see the attraction of the facelift versions as the clear part is far too big IMHO? I would prefer to keep the ones I have to changing them for those, but as you say it is all your own taste. I have not heard back from the guy with the Lexus ones yet with his bank details for the transfer so not worried quite yet on making my decision. I think the clear lens and chrome backing will contrast the dark colour of car and really make it look good. JayBeeS3 Posted September 4, 2003 Report Share Posted September 4, 2003 When I bought my facelift lights i also tried the lexus look units but i must say on my silver car it defo didnt look nice, too much chrome and the S3 doesnt have chrome of itself at all. I think i saw on another forum (nooo not "the" other forum) an S3 with those lexus style lights. I will browse around a bit and see if i can find a piccie. CARACTERE 007 Posted September 4, 2003 Report Share Posted September 4, 2003 ive got a 25 mile drive to work ...and unfortunatly have to take windy country roads to get there ......changing gear at high revs and overtaking slow arses on some tight roads is ace...do it every day.....but in a 1.6 you have to really strangle all the power out of it...good fun always..the best bit about work is my drive home....wicked...something always to look forwatrd too. The lexus lights should stay on the Toyota high bred that they came from BUT if you do get them, then do post some pics....so we can laugh, no, I mean seriously so that we can see how they look. I would'nt put them on a S3. Mine is a boring 1.8. Saying that, it should go well against anyones turbo!
