stevej69
Hello, I'm thinking about some 19" replica RS6 Alloys for my 2002 1.8T Sport Quattro A4. Have anyone got one of these with these one that i could see a pic of? Also im worried about the car looking like its on stilts, will this be ok with the sports suspension which i have. Also will 19"s cause any poblem with the Quarrto system and does it make the car drive like a dog like my 318iS with 18's on did. Do they scrub at all and can i still get full lock on which caused my old beemer to fail its MOT ! Thanks in advance
Cupramax
I'd stick with 18's mate, 19's will fit fine if you get the correct size/offset but they are OTT in my opinion... Theres loads of B6's with RS6 wheels in the gallery but most have 18's http://www.tyresmoke.net/gallery/albut27?page=

mcgough
19's on a Quattro tdi, fitted no bother, nice ride, didnt affect handling and didnt scrub as long as you get the right profile tyre the overall size is the same so supension is not altered......... tonygould
Havnt decided what im going to do yet, 18's or 19's but just weighing up the options and just wanted to see if a 19'' spare would fit in the well
DropTop
When fitting 19 inchers, did the car ride on stilts or did you lower it? Anyone got good pics of the new 19" RS4 wheels on an A4?

mcgough
the car doesnt seem to ride any higher, and 19's seen to suit the car see if ive got a better pic?! just did a calc and a 205 45 17 is 1936mm and a 205 35 19 is 1966 thats 30mm bigger so car would appear to ride 15mm higher..... but couldnt tell on mine and arch clearance was pretty much the same

Pistol29
Hi all, sorry to butt in and change the question but it is on the same kinda line :D. I love the RS6 alloy and have bought this a4 avant and it has 17 inch alloys which just look too small for the arch!! I'm sure i've seen other older A4's with 19" RS6 alloys on and am looking to buy some non genuine on ebay - the offset stud diameter etc seem right according to a website i went to check on. However i rang Audi dealer for some reassurance but they were just vague and wouldn't commit to anything! Having read the other posts on here there is also the consideration of how it alters the cars drive characteristics!? Any help would be much appreciated......before i waste a few hundred quid on alloys that ain't right!? cheers
Cupramax
First of all holy thread resurection, only a 4 year old thread You will need wheels of 5x112 PCD and ET (offset) between 38 and 45 for a B6 or B7 A4 (the lower the offset the further OUT of the arches they stick). You can fit ET35's but these will be right on the limit and may rub the outer edges of the wheelarches. Edit to add is it a B6? 2002 was when the B6 came out I think... Pistol29
Er yeah thought i'd dust this lovely thread off and see how it came back to life!? :D my initial reply took a while to come up so ended up starting a new thread anyway! whoops. Cheers for more quality info tho .....so say any 18" RS6 alloy (older version) with an ET in the early 40's would be fine all thru to full lock in the arch? cos i was worried that only being an SE with standard smaller alloys (actually 16" when i looked closer!) than an S LINE would possibly mean less room inside arch? Milo
If they're replicas they'll be ET35 or ET45 (OEM being ET43). I had 19" RS6 replicas (ET35) on my B7 and had no problems at all.
