jimdiesel
[ QUOTE ] It'sa bit unfair comparing the B6 A4 ride and handling to new Passat; it is acknowledged the B7 A4 has significant improvements over the B6 regards ride these. Having had both, I know this first hand. I have been in a new Passat (albeit as a passenger) on a east to west coast run along the twisties rather than the A69 or A66 routes. I wouldn't consider the ride or handling to be any better than my A4. In my opinion [/ QUOTE ] I was comparing to the B7 Milo.

[/ QUOTE ] So why did you not say you worked for Audi in your previous quote and also provide the models you have driven I have not driven a passat and never will, does not seem logical that Audi/VW would make the passat better than A4 considering they make both vehicles. Botang
[ QUOTE ] Can anybody tell me why so many chaffuer companys use Mercs and Jags or Lexus - Anything to do with build quality and reliability? Then again I suppose those guys dont have tight budgets! [/ QUOTE ] Funny this should come up, for those of you that dont know my family own a chauffeur company, we provide two levels of service, standard using Skoda superbs and what we call Business class using Mercedes. Its all about the image, or at least the perceved image. When we trailed the cars the Volvo S80 was arguably the better car than the Mercedes E Class, but we went with the Mercs purely because they can demand a higher price from our customers. As for the Skodas they sell themselves, the customers that use them rave about them although we just had a problem with a driver who doesnt want to drive a brand new 130bhp Superb Comfort he'd rather drive a 100bhp VW Passat S that has already done over 200k

garcon magnifique
Yep. And it is - according to the vast majority of serious reviews - still the best in its class. But of course, they're all biased.

Milo
Absolutley, the more the merrier As for the E90 - not my cup of tea but I'd have a 5 series any day of the week. The only thing with the BM though is they have forgotten to link up the drive to front wheels as well
