stig414 Posted October 11, 2006 Report Share Posted October 11, 2006 Engine number The engine number (“engine code” and “serial number”) can be found at the front below the toothed belt for the high-pressure pump (left-side) -arrow-. There is also a sticker on the intake manifold showing the “engine code” and “serial number”. The engine code is also included on the vehicle data sticker. NoteOn some versions the engine number is concealed by an idler roller for the poly-V belt. Removing idler roller for poly V-belt. Does that help?
