christobal
Hey, Got a Cupra R. When i reverse i get a weird groaning sound coming from one of the back wheels. Wondering if it could be the brakes sticking and if so how would i check? Anyone got any ideas/experienced the same. Cheers

kerbside
To check if your brakes are sticking. Stick the car in gear and jack the back up. Release the handbrake and try to spin the wheels one way then the other. Have a look at the inside and outer edges of the disc. If they are sort of red/brown that could also indicate sticking rear brakes. On your car however I would be inclined to suspect the rear wheel bearings being worn. Especially if you have a big set of alloys. With the car still jacked up put one hand at the top of the wheel and one at the bottom. If you can feel any movement when shaking it top and bottom then your wheel bearing is out of adjustment.
