rs32
as per post in R32 forum, have just had calipers and pads from the RS6 with RS4 discs fitted. any info on the way the RS6 pads tend to wear and how the braking behaviour changed whilst being run-in would be really helpful. MOSE
Looking good Rich.....what is the running in time on these babies?? I know for the AP 6 pot kit for the Monaro that they need at least 1k of gentle runing in?
rs32
I've been told 600 miles for bedding in but not sure how this compares to the factory-fitted Audi recommendation.
SamD
That is the same combo that I am having fitted this weekend. I plan to do as many miles as possible this weekend and get them nicely run in for the Brighton meet
A8_Tony
I've got RS4 Calipers & pads, with RS6 discs on mine, and have been running them in for about 450 miles so far. Currently not able to drive so my wee beauty hasn't been out

Plus an extra half tank of fuel to get there and the sums didn't start to make sense. I was also put off APS a little as they had never fitted one before and couldn't decide if one of their test cars was going to be fitted with the RS4 set up or AP's (I thnk they decided on the latter in the end). Does that mean you are getting your remap done there too Sam?

[/ QUOTE ] Not this weekend This weekend I am having my brakes and a short-shift fitted. The remap might possibly, perhaps be booked in for early January (Sorry for going off Topic Rich, but I felt that I should answer the question )
