mark88
It seems someone over on Audi Sport has successfully fitted some 19" RS4 wheels to his A3 S-Line. S3 owners take notes. http://www.audi-sport.net/vb/showthread.php?p=293334

AZURES3
Nice, all we need now is someone to do some replicas with the correct offset etc with decent tyres for about £1,200 and I am in Dont totally agree with you comment about the standard S3 wheels being shi* on the AS post but agree the 19" RS4 wheels would look great AZ
ashleyadam
I dont like them love the car but wheels look out of place, makes the car look like A3 with RS4 wheels.

I think they look the dogs and would really make the S3 look a whole lot better.

mark88
Guys, here's another 8P A3 with 19" RS4"s http://www.autoalloys.com/custgallerylarge.asp?large=../galimages/Red%20A3.jpg Perhaps auto alloys will be the answer to getting these wheels on our cars? Wallachie
I wish someone would hurry up and put a set of these on their S3!! I reckon they will make a huge difference to the looks of the 8P S3. Sprint Blue with 19" RS4's will look awesome IMO!

[/ QUOTE ] lol, this is my girlfriends car! I had spent a few days on here and some other forums looking to see which wheels would be the best, so I told her to get these, altho i was was quite shocked when she came back with 19's on, and also a bit jealous. Apparently the 18's had looked "tiny". The wheels went straight onto the car and I haven't noticed any buffing at all, apart from one time when there were a couple of heavies in the back and went over a hump in the road. I will try to get some more pics up.

mark88
[ QUOTE ] Here you go: [/ QUOTE ] Looks great, even better on an S3 no doubt. What tyres did you get with them may I ask? and are you sure they fitted them straight on? up until now practically no one has done it.
fuze
[ QUOTE ] P.S. Is that your cat in the 2nd pic? [/ QUOTE ] Yeah the cat manages to get itself into every picture I take. The wheels were indeed bought from Auto Alloys, and I'm told they were a 10 minute job. Just had a look at the tyres and they are 235/35.
AZURES3
I would love to see these on an S3 then I may well be tempted in about 3 months. Still not sure they suit the A3 shape, I liek the size and arch fill etc but not sure on the A3. That said I do think they would look great on black S3 but not sure if they simply attract the attention I dont want. A few questions. 1) I guess the ride will be harder etc? 2) Does it void any warranty components such a wheel bearings etc due to the non OEM wheel size ? 3) As the tyres are 235 rather than 225 will they rub on ful lock etc or is the offset slightly different ? 3) Will the speedo be out either way due to the increased diameter or have this been factored in by the lower profile ? and Happy New Year AZ
