Motor Vehicle Photography.....

You could do that I suppose, and I've used that technique myself on smaller objects / closer angles, but the effect would be somewhat different IMO (more evenly spreaded light for one). In this picture you see the flashes neatly placed at the corners, and the one inside (at least for this he needed a remote OR another independent lightsource). Furthermore you have to be very careful that any moving objects (such as yourself) are indeed invisible, just a bit of light is enough to give a blur (which can give nice effects too if you're looking for that). And it's NOT that easy stumbling around in a pitch black wood after setting of a flashlight... grin.gif

Therefore I suspect multiple remote flashers were used. Most professional photographers I know have and use them, esp. now there are such good wirless systems available.

The lostamerica is great eh? cool.gif

Hi lads,

Ari that picture that you posted of my RS4 (by my lil bro chrisW) wasn't that expensive to do. 1 7mb cybershot and one jessops handheld flash. He just moved the flash round the car. Not wanting to piss on anyones bonfire but he's just setting up his first studio now (with better kit obviously) and you can get him on 07974 185777 and he's very keep for the next few months so he can grow his portfolio.

Exactly, all about imagination and creativity rather than just throwing money at it.
