Removing Plastic Sill trims???

Here are the notes, from the document

Warning.... Outer sill panel trim cannot be removed without destroying it.

– Heat sill moulding with hot-air blower and lift off carefully.

– Clean area to be bonded with petrol, treat with silicone remover and rub dry.

- Sill mouldings are only to be bonded on at room temperature.

- This involves allowing vehicle and sill mouldings to adjust to ambient temperature for at least 2 hours prior to performing work.

- Once the backing foil has been removed, the protective moulding must be fitted on the vehicle within 90 minutes.

– Heat areas to be bonded with a hot-air blower to approx. 40°C.

– Detach backing from double-sided adhesive tape shortly before fitting.

– Clip in and press on sill moulding.

- Vehicle must be kept at ambient temperature for 4 hours after bonding on moulding.
