patently
Oh, I like the M3. My first brand new car was an E36 straight six, and I still have a soft spot for them. Especially the M3 that lurked at the back page of the price list, calling to me...
windy
Cheers mate! I tracked an E46 once upon a time, but I just wouldn't have been able to cover the loss (£21k at the time) if I'd trashed it so opted for an E36, which I can pedal round Oulton a fair bit quicker! The E46 handled like a dream though...

NewNiceMrMe
Now that looks good. Minus the cocklamps of course, it does look very fetching in white.
Mac
Ref cocklamps - they're hideous aren't they? Noticed yesterday my running lights come on on the M3 by default...Not sure I'm happy about that. Guess it's a setting in the iPain.
Andrew
Yes, it is mate - first thing I turned off too!! Under the info setting from the front screen and something like lighting? Possibly under the same menu as the triple turn signalling on the indicators (which I love).
DanG
Its a great car, all the toys and pretty quick - but I traded it at the weekend for an A5 Cabriolet.... Diesel. O, the shame.

skota
thanks guys, 4 should be the minimum. Wife has an a3 if that counts as another . I'd definetely have a Caterham, I think they're a little easier to come by over on your side of the pond though. The 914 is a 74 2.0, all stock with fuel injesction, tan cloth interior. super fun to drive. Cheers

You're not a member of the BMWOC by any chance are you?Have you had the car at the BMW Festival at Gaydon? No idea who the guy in the green t-shirt is, just some random bloke stood next to my car when the picture was taken. Not a member of the BMWOC. Never thought about it really. And yes I was at Gaydon this year for the Anniversary photo etc. Fab weekend. Lots of lovely stuff to ogle over, especially the Batmobiles and the M1s. Thank you for the compliments guys. She runs as good as she looks thanks to some amazing guys down at XS Racing.

Andrew
Well I might as well add mine on the same theme as the first, and potentially the last, of the N/A M3s ...
