What have the neighbours said? :o

Not sure what you mean?

If you mean "That's a come down from a Range Rover", we've been asked but before we had time to answer the guy he said he'd seen the recovery truck on the drive and heard us unable to start it on a number of occasions.  Oh and he owns a Volvo S80. :roflmao:

It's a summer car whilst we get the other sorted.

I'll be honest, and I think most people know this anyway, I couldn't give a flying feck what anyone says. :roflmao:

I have always said and stood by the same line - a badge means nothing to me.  My car history proves it and this is actually a very, very good car.  21,000 miles, full history, and utterly pristine inside and out.  MrsMe absolutely loves it!

Oh and to prove the badge thing further, I was looking at a Kia the other day.  I was impressed too.

The Accord over the road isn't from here.  It belong to the son of the guy who lives there.

To counter it, there's an Aston Martin Vantage V12 S, three doors down.  He's very popular with the retired folk. :roflmao:

There's also a 911 Turbo S but that doesn't come to play much and a Maserati Quattroporte that is quite possibly the worst looked after luxury car I have ever set my eyes on.  The guy never washes it and it is silver.  It has dinks, scratches, scuffed alloys and everything you can think of.  It is a 2014 plate.  He'll change it next year and do exactly the same to the replacement (his last car was the worst kept Audi S8 I have ever seen).

The guy who owns the Volvo S80 also has a Suzuki Swift.  It is fair to say cars aren't really his thing.

On the Cayenne, whilst I admit it is top of the list, it isn't the only car on the list now that I'm finally getting her around to talking about the long term replacement again.  That new Volvo XC90 you and I spoke about is getting a mention in its hybrid format, but the depreciation will be horrific.  She's harping on about another X5 too.  I  just don't want to go back there.  Brilliant car but we've been there and done that.

It's the next class up, "Sigmax" as opposed to "Sigma".  That means it gets a wider track front suspension, a cold air inbox, engine tweaks to 140hp instead of 120hp, and an LSD.

I'd rather have stayed in my old class, to be honest, but the maths was undeniable.  The upgrade cost is around £7k but the cars are only worth about £2k more, so it was a case of if I'm ever going to upgrade then I'd be stupid not to do it now.

I know a lot of the Sigmax grid.  Several of them used to race in Sigmas and upgraded, some started in my Academy year with me.  Others have been in Sigmax for as long as I've been in the club, but I know them from the paddock anyway.  It will be interesting to race with them, though.
