IanSamson
Just bought a 2001 RS4 from an official Audi dealer. Apparently, it has the following modifications: ReChip, Sports Exhaust, Competition Clutch. I'm told this makes it knock out 460 bhp. The Audi dealer is unable to contact the person who sold it to them (he's changed his mobile number or something), to ask him where he had the tuning done. It doesn't concern me greatly as Audi are putting their normal 1 year used warranty on it. Or should I be concerned? More importantly, I'd just like to find out who tuned it, in case I want to go back to them in the future. Any idea how I could find this out? Any help/advice much appreciated, Ian

IanSamson
Robert at Lea Valley Audi. MacRS4? Does this mean it's Mac's old RS4? So Mac is a member of the Forum as well then? And can tell me hopefully what's been done and who did it?

Oh, it needs a cam belt change when it went into the dealer, make sure they've done it for you. Good luck, the car is a bit quick

IanSamson
Ah yes, sorry, 460bhp. Yes, insurance is not cheap. Now I've got the full spec, I'll run it pass the insurers. They seemed to be mainly focused on the Power increase as a percentage of the original bhp.
Mollox
[ QUOTE ] Good luck, the car is a bit quick [/ QUOTE ] and then some! If i recall correctly, it does 0-60 in 4.00000001 seconds Enjoy the car I cannot believe how they throw 1 year's warranty at it though! If you're on the other end of the stick and have a chipped car dealers usually use this as an excuse to rape you and Welcome aboard
