whisky
...chopping the R6 in for one of these (see attached), I had a 640smc for a while and loved it just couldn't stick it with my mates, whereas this little number seems more than capable! SneakyMcC
[ QUOTE ] just couldn't stick it with my mates [/ QUOTE ] What do you mean? Your not one-o-them-there straight road boyz are'ya? Get your m8's on the twisties and let'em try to get away! I fancied one-o-them 950's. Couldn't afford one tho! My m8 got one, I didnt get on that well wi'it tho. Once I got used to it I'm sure I'd love it. My m8 does. Goes like stink, too! He had the approsyzmic zorsts fitted, that phucked up the fuelling, be warned!
whisky
Straight roads are the reserve of very short men who ride Hayabusa's and tell all their mates about their current land speed record... I'm with you Sneaky its all about the corners... Both of the guys I ride with have 1098s's so I'm always getting left behind anyway. I only borrowed the 640 for a couple of weeks from another friend, it was enough to tempt me into the hooligan world of supermotos though... I'm not bothered about keeping up with others, as long as I'm having a laugh I couldn't give a hoot. I just reckon this type of bike will be more fun, more of the time than the single minded sportsers. Still love em though!
AndyE
My mate got rid of his sports 600 for the same reason, he decided that cornering quick was more fun that doing 150MPH. So he went and bought a Buell, everytime we ride, get arrives (oooeerrr) with a giant smile on his face, glggling like a school girl

AndyE
I have not been riding long, so I am still obsessed with sports bikes at the mo, but I have a GSXR 600 K4, which is quicker than my mates Buell, but not as much fun, cos it rattles and bangs and pops, which is all part of the experience. here is a pic or two of my bike
whisky
I'm in the same boat really, had my R6 and license for a year now and my minds started wandering away from sportsbikes, just want to try something different for a while... Avus_Bub
Have a go on a proper sorted big twin, sooooo much more of an event than a four. All the fun of the fair IMO! Every ride on my bike is an occasion for me!

Avus_Bub
Top man!! It's one of them photocock jobs!! The last one I remember was the V5 Blackbird......... Looks like the HRC 'Blade with knobs on! I was at my dealers today and that HRC 'Blade is Oh well Lee we live in hope!! BUB
jims4
Hope its true but i would have thought a V5 based on the Moto GP technology would be a more likely progression. Sure MCN will claim the scoop what ever it is, as it will slightly resemble their "artists impression" (it has two wheels)
