Tizzy
Feel sure I ought to know this, but anyone know what the black silhouette of a bull stickers you sometimes see on the back of cars signify? Is it some form of ex. Coppers club / mates to exempt them from being pulled?
steffiraf
They're pigs actually And it does mean summat, although what, am not entirely sure...I think the police reference came from black rats though...dont quote me on that
Brabus
Nah, it's the spaniards that's what the bull means. Sure Mollox will explain but I'm guessing the bull is the spanish national symbol.

Tizzy
No the ones I mean are the shillouette (sp) of a cow/bull (i.e. with horns!) side on view showing all four legs - not rearing up - don't have any pics so this is the best I can do. Can't imagine it would be Freemasons though, normally they go to some lengths to remain secret and certainly rarely advertise who they are. I saw loads of them everywhere when I worked in Madrid a few years back. I've got a feeling Barcelona/Catalunia has it's own one, which is a black donkey? Mollox
Ok, I'm here to put you out of your misery The Black Bulls actually started out as an innovative roadside billboard campaign in Spain for Osborne in the 50s. Over time they sprung up alongside major roads all over the country (I think there's nearly 100 now) and soon they became renowned as a symbol of Spain. When billboards at the side of motorways were banned in Spain in the mid 90s (as in much of Europe) there was a bit of a national outcry as people felt they were 'national treasures'. In the end, they got painted black and have stayed ever since and the bull simply symbolises Spain
