Leppy
Hi All, Looking at changing my bike to a 2002 Hayabusa and was wondering what peoples opinions are of this bike - pros, cons, experiences? Currently drive a CBR 600. Thanks Brian

Mort
good bikes if you can handle the power or just like the idea of all that power on tap.... low seat height too. Saw loads at a recent track day..
Biscuits
Hi, I had one of these after having a TL1000S. They are surprisingly easy to ride and yes, very fast. Thing is, they are so darn strong and planted, the fun soon runs out when you've got used to the wheel spinning in 1st and 2nd gears! I loved it, Mel my other half loved being pillion (word of warning, don't use more than 1/2 throttle with a pillion... they scream rather loudly when they physically can't hold on tight enough!!!) Took it to the N'Ring and nearly cracked the big 200 (doh, only 195mph) and it was rock solid... just a bit heavy in the corners. As fast as a GSXR1000 in a straight line, but without your arse in the air ! P.

Leppy
Well I took the plunge and bought a 2002 Hayabusa at the weekend. What a machine. What I'm amazed with is how agile it is. Came through a few roundabouts on main roads and flung it in hard and no problems at all. Definately a heavy bike but an easy bike to ride and unbelievable power on a straight line. But a bike to respect or it'll throw you off!!
rob77
never had one but a friend of mine who owned one for about 2 years said slightly heavy and rear tyres lasted him about 200 miles
