drpellypo
I've read about this in forums, but haven't seen anything official, or should I say, can't find anything. Is it going to have a better dash, anyone know??
Calm Chris
The Cupra Mk 2 has only been on sale for 6+ weeks and SEAT Cupra net have started various rumours. 1st - Cupra has been rolling road tested at 261 ps, which is identical to the S3 Audi. Here's some engine bits:- Here are the part numbers of the engines. S3: 06F 145 702 C = exhaust manifold and turbocharger 1K0 145 803 P = intercooler, there are two of them 8P0 253 181 = middle and end exhaust silencer Cupra (engine code BWJ): 06F 145 701 E = exhaust manifold and turbocharger 1K0 145 803 A = intercooler 1P0 253 181 D = middle and end exhaust silencer The Cupra will take a 300bhp chip upgrade, but look at the fuel pump and DV needing replacement. The Cupra was never originally built with a Cupra R model to upsurp it, it was meant to be the Seat top dog, however... Rumours are around that a R might be produced, some suggest that SEAT have accepted that the aero mods available on the 140 TDi would suit the car. Rumour (again) is that a £1500 style kit may become an option later in 2007. In the mean time (and poaching thread space) what do peeps think about Candy White ?? Haven't found any good pictures of the Cupra, but this FR looks foxy- Well I think so:-

drpellypo
And the white - yes. Although Yellow looks fab too.
Glovepup
The white does look good, just not pratical for me. Yellow is the same on both counts. Mine arrives next month, not heard from the dealer cannot decide if thats a good thing or not.

[/ QUOTE ] From what I gather and if Seat Southgate are anything to go by, you won't hear anything until 2 weeks before delivery. There's some bitching on the net about Cupra's taking up to 16 weeks, more so if you've been 'silly' enough to order all the extras
drpellypo
The white, in my eyes, is the most practical! I've got a mocha anthracite Passat (almost black) and it shows up absolutely everything. MrsP's White GTI shows up nothing, and is really easy to keep looking good. I even take it through a nasty car wash!
Snoopy
I expected to not like the white but i do in them pictures. Still like the silver better though.
