AudiPartner
Anyone using any? I'm on Reflex One Stop at the moment and it's really good. It not only contains pure creatine, but a daily serving contains 100% of your daily vitamins and minerals. So no matter what you eat during the day, you know you're getting at least what you need. Seems to be working well in the gym. I'm bulking up quite a bit. A noticeable improvement in strength plus by the time I get to the pool I'm looking pretty buff!! FYI, the strawberry one is much nicer than the chocolate. They do a satisfaction gaurantee so I rang them and told them I thought the chocolate one was rank and they're sending me out another strawberry. Plus, for what it's worth I get to keep the rank chocolate one! Happy days. Interested to hear feedback on other suppliments if there are any users out there. AudiPartner
And, since using this I no longer get cramp when driving! For years now, if I spend more than about an hour in the car I get really bad cramp in my left leg. Drove from London to Dorset a couple of weeks ago (2 1/2 hours) and it was only on the way home that I realised I didn't have cramp! Nor on the journey down there. I'm putting it down to something in my suppliment thing.
Brabus
I drink a recovery shake just after working out which contains about 50g of protein. I have a box of 100% pure pharmaceutical creatine at home but it has no flavour so tend to not use it. Hear good things about creatine so might start using it again
Brabus
AP, When is the best time of the day to take creatine? After/before a meal/working out?
AudiPartner
The one I use has 74g of protein per day. You drink half a daily serving in the morning, then the other half after your workout.
S3ENVY
After trying many of the most expensive supplements on the market I decided to try Maximuscle as one of my friends was using them and I must say they're prabably the best I've tried. I was really sceptical at first as I thought they were very commcercial and off-the-shelf but not the case. I'm quite a hard-gainer in terms of bulk and find it very hard to eat enough calories on a daily basis but on these supplements the weight has piled on! I currently use Progain Extreme in the morning, 508 calories per serving!, Cyclone after my workout which includes creatine so you can load on it and I use Viper Extreme for recovery and playing football (gives you that edge and it's banned from competitive sports! ) Anyway, I've been going to the gym for years to support a reoccuring subluxation of my shoulder and it's only really due to decent supplements that I've reached my physical peak and feel strong....look ripped too! Does anyone else use them in a proper routine or are they just for a little after-workout boost?
sidicks
Have recently started to use some LA muscle stacks which are showing reasonable results, given the limited chance i get to train. Some of the shakes come in a variety of flavours which makes them much easier to drink - I wasn't a big fan of the taste of some of the maximuscle shakes. I do agree that their Viper Extreme is unbelievable stuff - I used to use a bar when playing football / tennis or take a couple of bars away when on a weekend with my mates - certainly keeps you alert well into the early hours!! Crossy
I use Maximuscle cyclone, and to be honest i don't know whether I am getting bigger just because i am going to the gym or because of the supplement. I can feel the increase in strength, but again this could be due to the training. I train with a bodybuilder at the free gym at college so i pretty much know what i'm doing, but can't decide whether it is worth the money for the powder. The aftertaste on the first day was horrendous by the way, but you hardly notice it now.
Andrew
Why would you want to use Creatine at all? As soon as you come off it your strength drops, why not train to get stronger and trimmer without it first? When I was in the Marine reserves I took some Creatine in liquid form (was supposed to be for runners) just before a particularly gruelling run. At the halfway point the directing staff were making comments that they hoped nobody was on Creatine because they had heard stories of people getting heart attacks during excessive cardio training. Might have been a load of rubbish but I didn't take it again before training with them!
Crossy
Thats the same with red bull though, you shouldn't take it before you exercise but plenty of people do. Thats apparently why quite alot of schoolboys were dropping dead while playing football.

JAYDR32
I don't see the point in taking it (creatine) unless you are into serious training i.e 5-6 times a week. It will increase your ability to train longer as it aids in the transfer of energy to the muscles so you dont fatigue so quickly. It should also aid in recovery, so good if you intend to train daily and want the additional stamina and ability to train for longer sessions. If your gyming it twice a week its going to have bugger all effect.
