pany
My apologies if this has been covered before. I have tried a search but with no success. I need to remove the drivers side a-pillar interior trim piece, to hopefully repair a cigarette burn. It feels as if it should remove, but I have reached the point where I do not want to pull any harder in case it is accompanied with the sound of plastic snapping and cloth ripping. If anyone knows how to do this with finesse I would be very greatful to know. Many thanks Andy

pany
forgot to say the car is an 04 plate, 8P?, as far as I can tell the side airbags are in the b-post, but I thought the a pillar was air bag free?
h5djr
There are no airbags in the A-pillars. Click on the PDF below for a copy of the instrcutions on how to remove the A-pillar trim from the workshop manual. remove a-pillar.pdf

rekker
I don't know how much the repair is going to cost but I just replaced mine and the part was only £17.

[/ QUOTE ] I might go that route then, if the repair doesn't work. Needed the kit anyway to repair a cigarette burn in the seat base, and one on the carpet.
