Sean_H
Picked up the new .:R32 this weekend from stealers in Essex. Traded in my old Mk4 R for the new Mk5 which was their manager's car Car so far has been amazing . Noticably more civilised than the Mk4 (I know this isn't everyone's cup of tea, but I prefer the less obtrusive ride & exhaust boom). The new one is great, although I have a question about the amount of run-in you should give the engine. The new one is only 3-4months old, and has just over 2000 miles on the clock. Does this mean it is still running in and I shouldn't thrash the engine, or has it done it's time? I will post pics up here soon (once we get a day without rain), but in the meantime the spec is 3dr, Diamond Black, DSG, Leather recaros, SatNav, Telephone & iPod prep, Luxury pack and rear tints. Am looking forward to learning how best to engage with the new 'DSG' box
Soulboy
Its run in. Feel free to give it some welly It will probably take you a good few thousand miles till you find the way that DSG suits you. Enjoy it
