scooby_simon
This update was loaded to my XP SP2 machine and as a result killed IE7. Anyone else had problems with this. Tried removing this update and IE7 works again, re-instasll this and IE dies (cannot resolve DNS or something). Anyone else ?

Sparky
Yes. Untick it from your Windows Update notifications. Set windows update to "Download but don't install", you'll then get a yellow warning icon in your sys tray. Click it and then select Custom and untick the update - it will ignore it for a while. They'll no doubt update this one.
