swale
Hi, Have just brought a new MKII TTR with pale grey leather/alacantra and pale grey suede bolsters and seat centres have seen so many cram lather cars with blue dye wich has rubbed of jeans etc on seats is there anything i can do use to prevent this happening, my seats have been treated with jewel ultra scotch gaurd, but can't see as this will stop dye, any thoughts/ advice p.s don't wanna have to use seat covers as they make it look to van like IMHO :-)
GrahamSmith
I have a new A3 S-Line with Exclusive "Silver" and black leather. I was shocked to see the amount of dye that had transfered from the Missus's jeans onto the silver centre section (she uses it day to day, I only get to play at weekends). Gliptone Leather cleaner just pulls it straight off leaving it looking like new - great stuff. Not sure about how it would work with Suede though....... steelwind101
Hello!! You need to be careful when dealing alcantra but really things like denim need to be taken really carefully when in contact with alacantra. Here is the link to the PDF that Alcantra have made for cleaning this tricky material. http://www.alcantara.com/en/experience/manutenzione/pdf/manutenzione_alcantara.pdf I hope that helps.
