Omi
2001 Mazda MX-5 S-VT Sport... 6-speed Torsen Limited Slip Diff Heated Leather Wind Deflector Rollover Bars Strut Braces Front and Rear Underbody Bracing 16" Alloys All factory options, basically every box except the air-con was ticked. 61k on the clock after the 400 mile drive home, full dealer service history... Car feels tight as a nut, goes like stink for an 1840cc engine and corners like a go-kart. Absolutely delighted. Couple of pics for your pleasure... Will soon be getting a few performance bits and pieces and I've got crazy thoughts of split rims with dark centres and a polished lip.
Rachel
Very nice - but having watched the news here about the weather in your part of the world, does it come with pontoons or a snorkel?
Calm Chris
Nice car, now put the cleaning kit away and sort that front garden and the bay window out.
Rustynuts
Ah, but that's not Omi's house. He lives above the hairdressers opposite (in the second pic). Nice motor Omi. Edit: Bloody Hell, Omi. 400 miles to drive it home? Where did you go for it?
theduisbergkid
I can confirm that it doughnuts nicely outside chez Duisberg.

Omi
Went to Bournemouth to get the car, but stopped off a few times on the way home, including Schloss Duisberg for a pint. Won't be doing track action, but it's nice to be able to put the (143bhp) power down coming out of the twisties. Off to the Lakes in the next few weeks to get it on some proper winding roads and see if I can make Mrs_Omi throw up again. (Last time was the Karrusel at the 'Ring.) Big thanks to Thorburn for actually going to see the car in Bournemouth on my behalf before I made the 6-hour train journey in vain.
Ian_C
Nice one JT - the spirit of TSN. So a Mark 2.5 then - uprated 1.8 engine, six speeds, facelifted nose. Regarded by the purists as the MX5 Swansong aren't they? Ian
