I'm well nervous.

JC is staying with us tonight ready for tomorrow. I've just finished washing the car. I even washed the cleaning product bottles, and lined them up nicely and everything. Have a feeling he's going to say I've missed a bit, or tut despairingly when he sees my efforts UHOH7.GIF

What time are you guys leaving in the morning? And can I tag along?

You'd be more than welcome to do that mate. I suspect we'll be joining the M62 at Jct 32. If you like, we can give you a call tomorrow with the times. We're aiming to be there for 12:00

I'll PM you my new number too, should you need it.

Just back now.

Excellent meet. Thanks to who ever sorted the route - that was better than the Cat n Fiddle route by far.

Nice to see some new faces, and quality food too.

Was well impressed with my new S3 - was nice to take it out and stretch its legs, somewhat sekret.gifgrin.gif

Got some nice pics, so will upload them later 169144-ok.gif

Yep, superb photos there Nick. notworthy.gif I got back about half an hour ago after a very sedate cruise down the M6/5. Today was a thoroughly enjoyable meet, good to see everyone and the run out was a lot of fun (as was the drive from Sparky's in the morning). ECLIPSe.gif Thanks again Sparky and MrsSparky for the hospitality. 169144-ok.gif

The comedy moment of the day has to be the bloke with the Prius when we had the cars lined up for the photos by the trees. shark_90: "Oh, sorry - we didn't hear you...!" lol.gif

TDiAvant - good to meet you. Your car is awesome and I'm sorry I didn't get to properly hear what an oil burning 4.2 V8 sounds like.

Thanks again to CarMad 169144-ok.gif

Great fun, thanks guys. beerchug.gif

10 cars was a good turn out, but once again it was a shame to have so many people dropping out within 24 hours of the event.

Good photographs Nick! The 'movement' shots are interesting: a bit weird to be looking at the back of my car, a view of course I never get to see. I'm a bit knackered to be honest after almost three hours driving home in the rain: Will sort my [90] photo's tomorrow.

Anyway, Peugeot coped well. M1 home was rubbish, so I was happy that I planned a route to avoid it for as long as possible. A515 was good apart from the fact it was closed just south of Buxton with about 25 yards warning! The open stretches on the run down to Ashbourne were awesome.

See everyone again same time next year,

Ian
