Omi
I've read Wikipedia and BPDCentral, but was wondering if anyone has real-world experience or thoughts on Borderline Personality Disorder? I was diagnosed clinical depressive 4 years ago and have been in and out of therapy, counselling and a couple of Psych offices since. The most recent of these mental health experts decided I had been misdiagnosed and felt I was BPD rather than straight depressive. Changed my medication accordingly. I abandoned our appointments soon after (ask if you're interested) and found the medication difficult to live with, so that's gone too... This has left me feeling somewhat low, but a bit fresher day-to-day and I'm no longer falling asleep at my desk after a sound night's sleep. I'm interested in alternative treatments, but haven't a clue which are worth looking at. Cheers in advance.
Waylander
sorry I can't be specific. newer medications tend to be less sedating but I find psychiatry as much art as science. i suggest you need to be comfortable with whoever is treating you
