The R8 specialist was telling me all the demos are owned by Audi UK rather than the dealerships and when they are finished with them Audi UK will give people on the waiting list the chance to buy one of the demo's. If there are more peope who want one than they have of ex demos the they will pick them randomly. He said about a year to 18 months wait and average speced cost was £90k. They look nice and look smaller on the flesh than I imagined but I do think for £90k I would get a second hand Gallardo, they have a silver 2004 Gallardo at Birmingham Lambo for £87k.
