khutula
They come with DRM protection so in theory you can't copy tehm onto a DVD and watch them on your telly. Technically you can do it but you will take an old copy of Windows Media Player and a lot of hassle linky

pontyslapper
I've just purchased something called RS Audials for just under 35 sheets. Includes a package that quite happily rips the DRM out of BBC iPlayer downloads!!

pontyslapper
I think it does khutula. Seems to do it on the run - I'm happy as it also works with 4oD and Sky - they are all based on Kontiki P2P software, and have DRM built into the file. The version I got which was the whole shooting match - also includes a package that hunts out MP3's via online radio stations, another that finds the tags and lyrics for MP3s, another that downloads and stores music videos and another two that do something with podcasts and voip. I'm happy for just being able to strip the DRM out of vids and music files.

pontyslapper
Might seem a pain in the bum. I just stack a few downloads and let it run overnight - go on the 'puter the next morning - readjust the tags and filenames and shift them onto the media drive thingy that sits next to the TV in the lounge.
