CarMad
In this weeks Autocar they drive the Britain's best drivers car (of the ones recently launched anyway) This is the closing statement. [ QUOTE ] Mark the day: an Audi has just beaten the best 911 Porsche (GT3 RS) can build in a circuit based handling contest. From today, the world is different. [/ QUOTE ] Its good then. It looks like the R8 is certainly up there, a good thing for Audi they haven't exactly been delivering cars that are a handling dream pre RS4 ... /* runs for cover... Woppum
[ QUOTE ] CarMad, how many Audis have you driven? [/ QUOTE ] He used the term 'handling dream' and to be honest I think he was generous even placing the RS4 in that catagory. Sticking to the road is one thing, the way it sticks to the road is the other. Not dissing Audis or 4wd cars, I think they are great, loved my R32, but handling dream it wasnt.
