J_C
Is anyone here planning on going to this? There are going to be loads of rally cars in action, together with an original ex-works quattro S1 E2. Hannu Mikkola is likely to attend too. I went in 2005 and it was a great day out, despite lashing rain. Full details and info here.

J_C
It was an awesome day, although I wish I'd got there two minutes sooner as I would've seen some poor sod binning his Evo at quarry. Big_Al saw it, but I don't know if he got any pictures. This was by far the biggest event I've ever attended at CC - I've never seen so many people there. The highlight for me was seeing one of my childhood heroes, Hannu Mikkola, driving the mighty S1 and later standing not ten feet away from him while he was being interviewed by Tony Mason. There was an abundance of classic (and not so classic) rally hardware on show, including examples of just about every Group B contender from the 80s. I'll post up one or two pictures tomorrow.
