It can only be the Kia Stinger.
Kia has released another teaser image of its new concept sports car, dubbed the Kia GT4 Stinger.
The concept, which will be revealed in full at the Detroit motor show on 13 January, is rear-wheel drive and features a 2+2 seating layout. Underpinning the GT4 is a “custom chassis” which utilises double wishbone suspension all round.
Power comes from a turbocharged direct-injection 2.0-litre petrol engine, badged “T-GDI”, which is reputed to produce “315 hp“.
Transmission duties are dealt with by a six-speed close-ratio manual gearbox, while stopping power is provided by Brembo floating discs and conventional four-piston brake calipers.
The manufacturer says the GT4 Stinger is “aimed at delivering head-turning looks while providing superb driving enjoyment, whether on the road or at the track”.
Design details include the latest iteration of Kia’s ‘tiger nose’ grille, vertical LED headlights, a carbonfibre front splitter and 20-inch centre-lock wheels with carbonfibre inserts for additional strength and weight reduction.
